Wen Pei Low is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, singer-songwriter and event producer.

In artistic projects, Wen Pei has been concerned with creating an impact at the intersection of artistic and medical research stemming from lived experience with childhood cancer and its impacts in adulthood. She has performed at UNSW Galleries, Carriageworks, Machine Hall, Esplanade Singapore both as performance artist and musician.

As an event producer, she co-founded and has led Project Market-space in programming bi-monthly pop-ups events on unceded Gadigal Land that include art and design focused markets, live music and workshops that platform LGBTQIA+ and PoC creatives. In 2026, while Project Market-space’s events have been put on pause, Wen Pei continues to offer advisory support for organizations seeking to host creative art markets and workshops. Most recently, she has supported the Australia & New Zealand Tongzhi Rainbow Alliance (ANTRA) in the programming of artists for their Lunar New Year “Temple Fair”.

Outside of Fine Arts contexts, Wen Pei has had an ongoing interest in analog illustration and zine-making since 2020, crafting tender and thoughtful narratives.

Wen Pei has also composed for award-winning short films and her writing has been published in Art Guide and un Magazine, reviewing exhibitions such as Tender Comrade (White Rabbit Gallery) and musing on the politics of Chinese dialect in music in Singapore and Taiwan.

Wen Pei is the winner of the 2025 Randwick Women’s Art Prize and the Australian Poetry Slam’s Fairfield Heats (2025).
She was also recently awarded two Kudos Emerging Awards - for her written piece Sometimes softness sings like a scream/Common denominator: softness and her video-performance work CHUAN ZHEN.

Wen Pei completed an undergraduate degree in Fine Art (Art Theory) at UNSW in 2024 with an interest in sound art and has most recently completed a Honours degree in Fine Art Studio Practice at UNSW as well (2025).

As of 2026, Wen Pei is pursuing Master in Art Therapy at LaTrobe University so she may contribute towards public health art programs across so-called Australia to fill gaps in community areas where CaRM and or CALD Disabled and Sick persons are overlooked.
